Spectacular Modern Home in Chiang Mai –Built By Kensington
This amazing modern home is located high up in the hills of Chiang Mai. There is much use of glass to capture the stunning views of the Northern countryside and the pool sits on the second floor overlooking the national park beyond. Truely a spectacular setting. There is excellent use of space with open air living areas to take advantage of both natural air flow and views. There are 4 bedrooms 5 bathrooms, European kitchen with feature natural stone, entertainment movie/music room, living room, study, dining room and maids quarters. Kensington were extremely pleased to work with the customer to perfect and mould the home to their requirements. Our client was overseas much of the time so we took care of the project and worked closely from the architectural drawings supplied. American Style Family Home with Maids House
This luxury ‘American Style’ family home was created for a Thai Western family based on a style from USA. Our Thai architects then carefully converted these into a style suitable for the Thai climate and surrounding landscape. They also added a smaller family home for other family who will be there to take care of the property and provide maid services. This single storey house includes all modern luxuries and amenities including swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sala, barbecue area/bar, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, with an additional bonus room and WC in the roof space, dining room, family room, kitchen, living room, laundry, 3 car garage, and back terrace. The Villa Water Orchid – “Awarded the Condé Nast Traveler Hottest Boutique Hotel In Asia Award 2008
Kensington was approached by a client working in Dubai. The lady wanted to open a new boutique, country hotel in Chiang Mai; a peaceful place where a few guests at a time could come to relax, enjoying fine food, the beautiful countryside and all the attractions of the city. Naturally the client had a budget and her own ideas. Due to work commitments she were unable to come to Thailand to organise it and asked Kensington to help. Kensington’s English speaking Thai architect started to create the first preliminary designs. He communicated regularly with the client, as too did the Construction Director and Managing Director. Contemporary Tropical Villa – Kensington Custom Design & Build For Private Client
This wonderful tropical villa was the brain child of Kensington’s architect, client and Kensington’s construction director. Over a period of 6 months they worked closely together to achieve the most positive productive results within the budget the client had originally requested. Initial ideas came from the client with practical advice and design concepts stemming from both Kensington’s architect and construction experts. The wonderful results are easy to see. This luxury villa is approximately 870sqm total area and constructed with insulation to maximise heat reduction and reduce temperatures internally. The walls are cavity built with Q-con block & red brick decorated with mountain rock. Nearly all the floors are Thai hard wood (tongue and groove) with tiled floors in Bathrooms. This fabulous tropical dream home was contracted by a private client to be located in Phuket. Over many months the Kensington architects and design team worked closely via the internet to secure the overall concept and design. A luxury tropical resort style with 2 rock waterfalls, two swimming pools (infinity and lagoon style), lake, two kitchens (European and Thai), en-suite bathrooms, secret James bond style room, resort style guest bungalows, lush landscaped gardens, sunken sala, arched wooden bridge, tennis court, solar power and the list goes on.
